Just as the administration claimed it was purely coincidence that our Benghazi consulate was attacked on the anniversary of September 11th. Now it’s purely coincidence that this affair -- extra-marital affair -- surfaces right after the election, not before, but right after, but before the intelligence chiefs go to Capitol Hill to get grilled.

And then we have this item from today's (11/10/2012) Wall Street Journal (p. B1):

LOCKHEED OUSTS NEW CHIEF: Incoming CEO Kubasik Resigns Over 'Improper' Relationship With Subordinate

The article goes on to report that Lockheed-Martin Corp., "the Pentagon's biggest supplier," (such as the C-130H2 "stretch Herk," on which I was once an avionics technician in the TN Air National Guard), right on the heels of Gen. David Petraeus's [who once was Division Commander of the 101st Airborned Div {Air Assualt} {which is stationed @ Ft. Campell KY, just across the TN-KY state line from Clarksville, TN, where I lived, 1972-1995}] resignation as CIA director.

When it rains, it pours!

Kinda reminds me of the "Bathsheba-gate" of King Davids' time.

Would that we'd have more "Nathan's" around! :thumbs: :tear::tear:

Looks like maybe Petraeus didn't care to fall on his sword for Obama and Clinton.

What struck me was a news commentator saying something along the lines of Patreaus had to resign because of the 'moral implications' of his extra marital affair. I immediately thought of Bill Clinton and Monica. I guess 'it depends on what your definition of "is" is'. It does seem a little too convenient to me too BTW. .

Due to his resignation, Petraeus will not testify at the House hearing on Benghazi on November 15th.
