Of course he did. The context makes it clear that all Christians will have a new resurrection body. The context of the Olivet Discourse makes it clear that only a limited amount of people would see the events described. It's not possible for everyone to see an event. Even your "futurist" viewpoint would still only allow "that generation" to see those events, not people living at any other time.

During the Apostle's lifetime. Taking it in the same way as Matthew 24:33.

OK, then, please show us **PROOF** that all those prophesied events have already occurred.
Tell us who the beast & false prophet were.
Tell us when all life in the Mediterranean Sea died.
Tell us when Jesus returned, seen by all.

There are only 3 intellectually honest interpertations for 1 Corinthians 15:52 / Matthew 24:33.
    1. A yet future event. [As I have understood over the last 50 years.]
    2. A failed prophecy.
    3. Full Preterist.

    You still miss it.
Mt 24 is not speaking of His second coming.
You insist that is in view, ignoring bible teaching
From Daniel and the Psalms...before we even look at Mt.
The Jews in Mt 26 understood what Jesus said unlike you.:Cautious:Cautious

Based on the use of "ye" in Matthew 24:33 and the "we" in 1 Corinthians 15:52 it either happens at a yet future time or in the life time of the audience or it is a proven failed prophecy.

Based on the use of "this generation" instead of "that generation", either the prophecies of the Olivet Discourse have come to pass or Jesus was wrong. The 1 Corinthians reference is "apples to oranges".
