You don't just "fall out" of a bus. No mention of alcohol involvement but it is hard to imagine anything else unless he thought it was a restroom. I feel bad for the car that hit him, but to run off without finding out what you just ran over is inexcusable.

Police say Bauer may have been intoxicated and looking for a bathroom, when he pushed open a rear limousine door and fell out.

The local media has been beating this story to death so I didn't bother reading the WSYR report. Looks like they are the first to report the obvious. What a tragic waste of a young life.

Hit and run is kind of the norm in Portland, hardly a week goes by with out one or two stories of people getting killed by hit and run drivers. Often illegals so one doesn't wonder why some run.

The news reported today that a driver turned himself in - on Sunday- but he was the second driver to hit the man who fell out of the bus. They are still looking for the driver of the first vehicle.
