I'm still waiting to see when my iPad will get confiscated because some TSA personnel find "questionable substances" on it and want it evaluated in their car.

The only time I have lost anything while traveling by air was after a TSA check of my luggage. They did not put dangerous items, like a pair of shorts, a shirt and one or two pairs of socks back in the luggage.
