Massive new environmental report to be basis for massive new regulation?

Fox News: Administration issues dire climate change report, amid regulatory pushhttp://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...climate-change-warnings-amid-regulatory-push/http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...climate-change-warnings-amid-regulatory-push/

The Obama administration fueled its push for energy regulations with a massive new report Tuesday linking climate change to extreme weather across the country and warning of more "climate disruption" if the nation doesn't change its ways.

The National Climate Assessment, four years in the making, gave a region-by-region breakdown of how climate change is impacting the United States -- in the form of droughts, heat waves and increasingly intense hurricanes, according to the report.

"Climate change, once considered an issue for a distant future, has moved firmly into the present," the 840-page report states. "Corn producers in Iowa, oyster growers in Washington state and maple syrup producers in Vermont are all observing climate-related changes that are outside of recent experience."

The report predicts that the weather-related repercussions of climate change "are expected to become increasingly disruptive across the nation throughout this century and beyond."
This report lies about the effects in the U.S. of "global warming" or "climate change," if you wish. It makes false claims about hurricanes over the last several years, which are actually down in number, but the report claims the "change" shows up in duration and intensity of the storms that do form, which is also a lie. The report cites drought, harsh winters, and even heat waves and "heavy downpours" are mentioned as indicative of climate change on an alarming scale.

I've said all along, amid jeers from some, that I suspect the Little Marxist Dictator will not allow 2016 elections, based on some made-up crisis that he will use to invoke the National Emergencies Act, which he will use illegally to suspend Congress and establish himself as a real dictator.

I think this might be the first move in that direction. He will use a fake environmental/climate change crisis to begin his takeover. You can "pooh-pooh" that all you wish. He has already said, "I have a pen, and I have a phone," referring to his intent to circumvent Congress and enact "legislation" -- executive orders that he intends to have the force of law -- on his own. It is only one more step to effectively rule by caveat, including the suspension of Congress and the use of the military to enforce his "pen and phone" rules.

Get your guns and ammo while you can, boys and girls. We're headed for civil war.

Not. Going. To. Happen.

Let it go, TND, or we'll be fitting you for a metallic hat.

So you say. I'll relax when they swear in a new president on January 20, 2017. I've gone from thinking it is a remote possibility that they will not, to thinking is almost 50/50 that they will not. And believe it or not, I'm a pretty sane individual.
