    My pastor has begun a series of messages on discipling, which is based on material from Matthias Medis. Although he has not mentioned it in his messages this sounds very much like a book that I read some time back entitled The Trellis and The Vine that I found to be doctrinally sound and very much in line with New Testament teachings. This is not a Class on Discipleship but one on one mentoring. I liken it to Pauls discipling of Timothy. It is more geared to conversions rather then decisions. I would be interested if any of you pastors have tried this approach.
