Matt Drudge protects Foley wonder why???

You seemed to have left off the multiple caveats posted on the top of that Wiki article:

What is far more important than Wiki's disclaimers, of which we should all be well aware, are the facts.

Does your "shoot the messenger" post mean you disagree with the facts that were posted?:smilewinkgrin:

This whole Foley thing is a good story to take up all the air waves and keep our minds off more serious crimes that has been is being commited by our government.

 

You're pretty much one who plays the blame game, ASLANSPAL. Therefore, it is surprising that you would accuse of other folks of doing what you do without recognizing that you are doing it yourself.

 

The disclaimers question whether the uncited "facts" are facts or opinion.

It means I disagree with the opinions that were posted.

Anyone who says that Drudge is not on the Right side of the political spectrum simply doesn't read his page with any regularity. Perhaps you should read David Brock's book, Blinded By The Right.

Here's a neat trick: try listening to Rush Limbaugh and see how many stories he references that are found on the Drudge Report. It doesn't always happen, but there's usually more than one that is referenced in the first 15 minutes of the show.

He also references the Washington Post, ABC, CBS, NBC, Hillary Cinton, Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy etc. etc. etc So either your premise is wrong or Rush is a closet liberal

 

Like I said, anyone who thinks that Drudge is not right-wing does not visit his site with any regularity. How many references to the Clintons or to Kennedy, or even Kerry are positive in nature? He certainly gave a great deal of attention to the Swiftboat folks, didn't he?

By the way, you forgot to mention Drudge's fixation on Barbara Streisand......

Did any of you see the article on Drudge today where the link had the words "openly gay" to describe the article, yet the article wasn't titled that, nor did the word "gay" appear in the text of the article.

I noticed that, at the time I posted this, it has been taken down.

They are all pulling out ALL stops and trying every SPIN they can to make this go away. FoxNews was showing Foley as a (D-FL) during O-Riley's show.

It wouldn't be a surprise to know that Drudge is stooping to their level and trying to help the Republican party spin this away....

Listening to Matt's radio show on Sunday nights I think that he more of a libertarian like me than a conservative.

 

No reason for me to be mad as you were proven wrong on that subject.

 

There are right-wing libertarians. I don't know if they are more common than left-wing ones, but they're the ones I've noticed.

 

I imagine most other Americans who've actualliy heard about him, are disgusted with Drudge for his defense of pedophilia.

And you may have noticed that the group that uses Drudge as an outlet for their disinformation campaigns isn't the Libertarian party.
