    Aw, so thats the secret. I was wondering how Obama got to be #2 on that list and McCain is down for minimum amounts. So the answer is 26 years on the hill taught him not to accept lobbies contributions directly, you give to me via my staff or other safe names I give you... Now I get it.

    No, I will wait. This story is still unfolding. All of it isn't known at this time but I suspect no one on the Hill has squeaky clean hands...

    I believe you are right. There will be very few if any politicians 'on the hill' who are totally clean on tlhis one.

    Crabtownboy, why do you keep posting lists of links to who knows what?

    We are all aware of Google and the other search engines and can generate our own lists of links.

    Do you really imagine that someone is going to check out your links to try to find what ever it is that you are selling?

    An small paragraph from a website with attribution by way of a link is fine. We can read the small posted material and then decide if we want to read the whole story.

    But a list of links with no indication of what we are to find there is just silly, pointless and only clutters the board.

    If I do not post a link I am called a liar and dishonest or a snide remark is made about the link. So, that being the case, I have decided to post link. If you are not going to check them out, how can you say you are informed? It is easy to distort a story line by posting a small portion of an article.

    Check them out. See if there is anything there, but read them.

    The point in posting a link is to document something that you are posting to the board.

    It goes like this....

    Make a statement of fact - post a link to document the statement.

    i like this, sweep the fact that Obama in only 4 years on the national scene has taken in a lot more apparently soiled money than nearly everyone else and then spin it around to blame McCain. Gotta love politics!
