    How much preaching and teaching did Jesus do without personally making disciples along the way? Yet we have pastors who seem to think that by preaching and hoping that people will somehow be obedient to Jesus is making disciples. That is much the same as hoping your children will somehow be able to survive in the world and make a living by sitting in a lecture day after day.
