This is a gossip piece filled with phrases like "according to a source", "according to a person familiar with the situation", "according to a high level source ", etc. When the article named someone that was actually questioned on the record he flatly denied everything.

There are as many lies told by named sources as there are unnamed sources. Just because someone is not willing to go on the record does not mean the information is not true or viable. Journalists have been using unnamed sources since the beginning of journalism. The use on one in no way discredits the information given.

Yes, but in this article there were three sources, none of them named supporting the allegations and the one person named said, "“The reporting is false and obviously fabricated.”

Ok so you have one person against three. Also, Johnson doesn't deny all the reporting in the article just what was specifically related to him. It is also with great integrity that they reported Johnson's disagreement with the claims. That alone proves the piece is not a "gossip piece" and is working to be as accurate as can be.

The headline of the OP and the headline of the WND teaser article says:

Megyn Kelly Now Claims Death Threats

When you click on the link to the full article, which is a one-thousand word article, here is the ONE SENTENCE that relates to the OP:

According to one high-level source, Kelly has told Fox producers that she’s been getting death threats from Trump supporters.

That's it.

I will now leave you to have the last word since your sport of late seems to be contradicting me at every turn.

Ok well, if my debating with you has to be turned into a "sport" by you then I will avoid doing so with you in the future. This is a forum where we share our views and debate the differences. If that has to be characterized in that way it is no longer edifying and therefore not reasonable. I will leave you to it. I am sorry if you are offended.
