For what it is worth here are the reported number of various mercenaries in Ukraine, where they are from and how many were killed, left, or are still there.

I saw a video where volunteers from Great Britian were given an AK with only 20 rounds of ammo and no body armour and sent to the front lines as cannon foder. They managed to escape and told their story on youtube so others would not be treated like them. They warned people not to go there.

I saw some videos of the "contractors" aka mercenaries in the Ukraine. They seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel. Definitely not up to speed with the contractors USA uses.

Corrupt govt wants them killed to generate western outrage.
Wonder when everyone will figure out that Ukraine is a puppet of corrupt western interests.

The majority will never figure it out. I wish I was wrong, but most Americans cannot, or refuse to, fathom the degree of corruption that our country has now sunk down to.
