MEXICO CITY, February 4, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A Mexican pro-life organization protested outside of the U.S. embassy on Monday in response to the Obama administration's decision to approve the use of potentially billions of dollars in American foreign aid funds for overseas abortion providers.
The group, from Mexico's National Pro-Life Committee, wore Obama masks and handed out fake U.S. dollars to passers-by, denouncing the decision. They also delivered a formal letter of protest to embassy personnel.
"We believe that this resolution constitutes an act of extermination, as well as an imperialist gesture that aggresses against the lives and integrity of pregnant Mexican women," wrote the Committee president, Jorge Serrano, to the U.S. government.
