That is actually a guitar built by Dana Bourgeois, that Ricky Skaggs had commissioned. I've had it a long time, I think 15 years. Now Paul Reed Smith makes Ricky's guitars.

I've got an old Sigma, says Martin in the soundhole, had it 26 years. I have been looking at the inexpensive DX series, I understand they are excellent for the price.

I want an acoustic electric that I can take anywhere, these look pretty good.

I have two Martins, and you can't go wrong with that company. The DX will give you a great sounding guitar for sitting around in a living room, or plugging it into a PA for a live performance. I love Martins.

I agree. I had an Ovation Balladeer I gave my pastor, he needed a good guitar. Now I'm thinking of one of these Martins.

I do play in church now and then through the PA.
