    Yeah, I guess I'm just a cranky person, but I really dislike stuff like this. I've had things similar happen at events I've been to. You go to the event for the sake of the event, and then the entire thing is taken over by some individual family doing their celebration. Yes, I'm happy for the people in these situations, but do you really need to intrude on every else's lives around you and take up our time for your personal celebrations?

    [ok let the moaning against me begin...remember I'm just being honest here]

    As a general idea, this was pretty cool....

    ...but Matt makes a good point. The girl wasn't even going to participate. I have to wonder, did she finish the contest?

    Yes a very touching moment and shared with all. Perhaps it shows some of how we will be when our Lord comes for us.
