We have a poll on the SEVEN ancient wonders. What might you include in a list of potential wonders since the time of Christ?

We'll compile the suggestions and make another poll in a week or two.

    Ideas?

    Great Wall of China?
    Panama Canal?
    Coloseum at Rome?
    Golden Gate Bridge?
    Hagia Sophia in Istanbul?

These are all things I've seen and was amazed.

Wouldn't the Hoover Dam fit in this category?? It is a marvelous feat of technology for its time.

I love Gaudi's buildings & sculpture. I would really like to see them.

The 'Delta Works', we usually just call them dikes. If global warming continues, a lot of coastal countries may need them.

Has any one mentioned the Panama Canal yet?

Oh, and the spacestation - that's a wonder. Maybe the Hubble telescope.

Sure do wish I could edit this to correct my spelling. It is supposed to be the Thorn crown Chapel.

Nope. Dikes are just 'walls' keeping water away from land, ordinary dikes can be found everywhere. The Delta Works include such weird stuff as "Neeltje Jans" basically a huge dam/doorway that can be closed to shield the mouth of Schelde river against storms.

Reynolds Razorback Stadium....not the home of God's chosen team, but still quite a site to behold.
