One of the most concerning aspects is covid in children. Like adverse reactions to vaccines, deaths occur rarely. But unlike vaccine serious side-effects rates in children are increasing.

Last year we did not hear of deaths in children due to covid. In the US alone they are now approaching 700.

Studies have shown the primary cause of covid deaths is unvaccinated people.

There are still an abundance (a large minority) of unvaccinated people who reject science at the risk of our children. These are the new "flat-earthers". What is to be seen is how much damage they can do to a society in the name of misplaced "liberty".

Could it be that children might be at the same rate - but the rate for adults lower as more adults are getting the C-virus shot?

Well, this may be why covid is declining in areas where vaccines are rising. But unfortunately deaths in children (who are not vaccinated) are rising.

Remarkable how the physiology of children and viruses have so dramatically changed in time for the vaccine push against them.

No. The initial fear was children would be the most effected. Thankfully that did not happen.

The children did not change - the virus changed.

This is what science (that phenomenon you deny) calls "varients". Children seemed to not be effected by the initial virus last year. But yes, children did not fair as well with varients. But neither did adults.

The sad part is just how quickly the anti-vaxers can simply dismiss the deaths of 700 children.

Perhaps their solution to abortion is to limit abortions to less than 700 a year. Only 700 children....not enough bother with.

But one child dying a preventable death is one too many.

We live in a nation of freedoms bought with the blood of men who defended her.

Do anti-vaxers view their "liberty" as something built on the blood of children?

    No we don't.

    We, as believers in Jesus Christ and the members of this forum who reside in countries that have personal freedoms, were granted those freedoms by the grace of God above;
It only appears that we live in ones whose freedoms were bought by the blood of men.

That, it seems, is fast-changing and will probably disappear completely in our lifetimes.

The Bible says that a man's days are numbered and determined by the Lord ( Job 14:5, Psalms 90 ).
We as believers know Who controls death and the number of man's days, and it is not men ( 1 Samuel 2:6 ).

Perhaps we should step back and ask ourselves, as believers, Who it is that is directly responsible for the deaths of those 700 children, and further, Who it is that is directly responsible for the 4.9 million deaths attributed to COVID-19 thus far, worldwide...
A virus that many are trying with all their might, strength, intelligence ( and science ) to control, or the Lord, whom men cannot control.

Life and death are in the hand of the Lord, my friend... not men and not vaccines.

To me, it seems that you're taking your eyes off this and placing the blame for the deaths due to COVID-19 on the negligence or "failure to participate" of those who object to vaccine mandates and / or otherwise exercising their freedoms that, until now, were never that much of a problem, especially in the United States.
I assure you that without the veneer of science,
we as men would be faced with being backed into a corner, and grudgingly acknowledging our total dependence upon Him for everything...

If we, in our stubbornness, ever came that close to realizing it.

I, for one, am glad to know that my life and death are in His hands.:)

I disagree. Freedom of speech, the right to vote, the freedom to own property, the freedom to operate a business....these are not God given rights.

Nevertheless, I know where my freedoms come from, and I know Who can take them away.
I also know where my eternal life comes from, and it will never be taken away. :)

    This is a cop-out.

I also believe God holds our lives in His hands. But this fies not mean we should ignore the preventable deaths of children.

God holds our lives, but even do I believe abortionists are responsible for the babies they kill.

The abortionist rejects these babies as being a person. The anti-vax reject science. There are many similarities. The difference is the abortionist kills intentionally and the unvacvibated puts children at risk through ignorance.

I agree that we have the right to eternal life....but if this is the rights you were speaking of you also provided your claim was that it only appears that men died to give us that right.

Can you provide a passage saying that God has given you the freedom to speak without fearing persecution from the government? It seems the Bibke kinda says the opposite....that we will be persecuted for our words.

Can you provide a passage that says God gave us the right to vote?

Can you provide a passage that says God gave us a right to an education?

Let's just start there.....with Scripture.....since this is your claim.

    Not in the least.
It acknowledges God and His rightful place as ruling over the earth, as it should.
But to me, you really don't...
because if you did, then you would soberly and quietly understand that He is the one responsible for those "preventable deaths", not us.
The problem with diseases is the people who contract and spread them, and not the Lord, who is responsible for death?
I understand your thinking, but don't understand why a Christian would descend into it.

    Now unbelievers?
I can understand why they keep thinking that they can control something like this with science, but not us, who believe His words and live by faith.

No, brother. God is in control. BUT men ate also responsible for their actions. A murderer is guilty of taking a life even though God is in control.

I think you have a deeper problem than me answering your questions from Scripture and us arguing about what it says.

    You have the Bible;
I encourage you to read it and believe it.
He is in control, whether or not we think that He is.

No one is going to die from this pandemic ( that has a 98+% survival rate so far ) than the ones that He has decided will die from it.
Again, life and death are in His hands, not ours.
He can blow right through all the carefully laid plans of men to preserve their lives and destroy a person's health in a moment, and take their life in an instant...vaccines or no vaccines.

This veneer of science, especially security through vaccines against diseases, is just that...a veneer, and a mighty thin one at that.

    Good evening, Jon.

No. I do not think either of us neglect reading our Bibles.

About 18% of babies (a minority) die in abortions. I agree with you that God is in control, but we may disagree in that I still believe abortion is wrong.

Scripture gives accounts of man's responsibility within God's control. One is Paul's shipwreck. God told Paul no lives would be lost. But this did not mean Paul should not act. He told the Sailors if they left the boat everyone would die.

Christ lay down His life for us. He did this willingly. At the same time Peter could say the Jews were guilty of handing Him over and wicked men killed Him.

I am asking you to provide passages saying the rights we have in this nation - freedom of speech, freedom to vote, freedom to make health decisions....that these are God given.
