No. The initial fear was children would be the most effected. Thankfully that did not happen.

The children did not change - the virus changed.

This is what science (that phenomenon you deny) calls "varients". Children seemed to not be effected by the initial virus last year. But yes, children did not fair as well with varients. But neither did adults.

Perhaps their solution to abortion is to limit abortions to less than 700 a year. Only 700 children....not enough bother with.

But one child dying a preventable death is one too many.

The Bible says that a man's days are numbered and determined by the Lord ( Job 14:5, Psalms 90 ).
We as believers know Who controls death and the number of man's days, and it is not men ( 1 Samuel 2:6 ).

Perhaps we should step back and ask ourselves, as believers, Who it is that is directly responsible for the deaths of those 700 children, and further, Who it is that is directly responsible for the 4.9 million deaths attributed to COVID-19 thus far, worldwide...
A virus that many are trying with all their might, strength, intelligence ( and science ) to control, or the Lord, whom men cannot control.

Life and death are in the hand of the Lord, my friend... not men and not vaccines.

To me, it seems that you're taking your eyes off this and placing the blame for the deaths due to COVID-19 on the negligence or "failure to participate" of those who object to vaccine mandates and / or otherwise exercising their freedoms that, until now, were never that much of a problem, especially in the United States.
I assure you that without the veneer of science,
we as men would be faced with being backed into a corner, and grudgingly acknowledging our total dependence upon Him for everything...

If we, in our stubbornness, ever came that close to realizing it.

God holds our lives, but even do I believe abortionists are responsible for the babies they kill.

The abortionist rejects these babies as being a person. The anti-vax reject science. There are many similarities. The difference is the abortionist kills intentionally and the unvacvibated puts children at risk through ignorance.

Again, life and death are in His hands, not ours.
He can blow right through all the carefully laid plans of men to preserve their lives and destroy a person's health in a moment, and take their life in an instant...vaccines or no vaccines.

This veneer of science, especially security through vaccines against diseases, is just that...a veneer, and a mighty thin one at that.

No. I do not think either of us neglect reading our Bibles.

About 18% of babies (a minority) die in abortions. I agree with you that God is in control, but we may disagree in that I still believe abortion is wrong.

Scripture gives accounts of man's responsibility within God's control. One is Paul's shipwreck. God told Paul no lives would be lost. But this did not mean Paul should not act. He told the Sailors if they left the boat everyone would die.

Christ lay down His life for us. He did this willingly. At the same time Peter could say the Jews were guilty of handing Him over and wicked men killed Him.

I am asking you to provide passages saying the rights we have in this nation - freedom of speech, freedom to vote, freedom to make health decisions....that these are God given.
