It is certainly a wise stewardship. But it is not right in the sense that anything else is wrong. Many mormons have a 6 months supply in their own homes. they can and store their own food as well.

This is an excellent article. I don't agree with much of the LDS doctrine, but this is a great lesson for everyone.

Christians could not do this because we cannot agree on what we need to do.
The Mormons do as they are instructed no arguing.

You let a major catastrophe hit----------and those shelves will be emptied overnite

Mormanism is antichrist and will not defy the laws of Jacob's Trouble

Jesus said the only reason some will make it to the end is that the end will be shortened

"Unless those days be shortened . . . " During the Great Tribulation---the mormans will cry out to the mountains to cover them just like any other unrepentant people of that day coming

Yes, I agree for the most part, I can't say that there are no Mormons out there who will not be saved or who are saved, just doctrinally off. As long as they are putting their faith in the Messiah….

Well, we aren't talking apocalyptic events here either, just an abysmally bad economy. Seems to me it is a good idea.

You are correct MP. We should always live as if hard times are coming.

My rule #3 when it comes to finances is to, "live beneath your means."

I think it's very important to temper our praise with these realities. Thank you, blackbird.
