The Minneapolis Park Board was seeking to restrict the distribution of Bibles at the annual Twin Cities Gay Pride Festival but a U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals struck down the restrictions.
The federal judges ruled 2-1 that a man who believes homosexuality is a sin was under too many restrictions when the Minneapolis Park Board set limits on his distribution of Bibles during the Twin Cities Pride Festival.
In a 2-1 decision, the 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said Wednesday that too many restrictions were placed on a man who has been trying to distribute free Bibles at the annual Twin Cities Pride Festival.
The appeals court reversed a decision by U.S. District Judge Michael Davis, who had ruled that the Minneapolis Park Board had made reasonable provisions for Brian Johnson to make the Bibles available at the festival.
