The American Muslin Alliance is an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood and is a jihadist organization. We have an organization like them in the Indianapolis suburbs--The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), which is a phony think-tank that gives cover to some very dangerous people.

Which Congressman is that? D-Dave Loebsack? ( A family member of mine
living in Iowa, say's Loebsack is known to conservatives there as "Low-sack")

My research shows there are three other Congressmen in Iowa, all GOP.

Anyway you see it, many armed citizens with or without permits, are
actively putting Muslim's of all stripes under surveillance. Local. state
and the federal government have become way too political, and their
judgement cannot be trusted. Already several groups have taken online
    security and surveillance courses.

Some have set aside personal budgets for high tech surveillance "gadgets",
being mindful of the law, because they're leaving nothing to chance.

They're not afraid to offend the precious sensitive feelings of left-wing cons.

If the federal government would classify the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, which it should considering their Nazi birth and their international terrorist activities, then Americans might wake up about the American Muslim Alliance and organizations such as the Islamic Society of North America.

As to the question about Algeria, it dealt with living there, not visiting there, and no I have no desire to visit or live there, but I wonder if you would like to live in a country like Algeria since you don't seem to fear the Muslim Brotherhood?

Hmmm, I see you avoided my question and editorialized. Would you go to Algeria with me or are you afraid?

Wow, you were asked if you wanted to live in Algeria first and you changed the question and never answered it and then accused me falsely of what you yourself had just done. Besides that you said falsely that I never answered your question about visiting there but I clearly said that I did not want to visit there or live there. Don't you get tired of yourself?

Do you want to live in Algeria--for the third time?

If I was convinced that God wanted me to live in either place I would go. Would you?

Wow ! I see you still did not answer my question. Would you go with me?

However, the underlined wording IIRC was not part of your original question. As for me, under those terms, yes, I'd visit if not live in Algeria. But, He hasn't so I won't. Remember I live in Metro San Francisco, a place most here look at with the same eyes as your Algeria.

Never knew the topic of living in Algeria would become cantankerous.

Anyway, fear doesn't necessarily begat fear. Taking a common sense approach
to protecting ourselves isn't selfishness. Neither is defending others selfish.

God gave to us our lives. There is no other person like you or me on this earth.
Not from the Creation, nor afterwards. We have a supreme duty and moral
obligation to defend and protect that life that He gave to each of us. Why do
you suppose the Sixth Commandment was put there by God's Finger? Because
murder is against God's plan for every person. That is why a murderer has to
    have his blood shed.

I do not accept the premise that anyone who was murdered, that this is somehow
".....part of God's plan....". Anyone who believes this isn't very astute on Biblical
matters regarding the legal vs illegal taking of human life. Too many Christian's
who are otherwise pretty passive always take this route when they have no other
way of explaining "....why God would allow this...?"

Romans 12:17-21 has been consistently used by passive Christian's to justify
their theology against the use of force to defend oneself or others. Every aggressive
action taken, no matter how legal, is interpreted as "taking revenge".

Jesus did not go the cross, so we could forfeit our common sense, or even tempt Him
("...I'm not afraid of anyone. God will send His angels to protect me so I wouldn't have
    to carry a gun...").

    Oh well.

No, I said way up there that I would not want to visit or live in Algeria. Apparently, you do not read what other people write.

Most importantly, you gloss over the terroristic nature of the Muslim Brotherhood. They were the ones who murdered Sadat, for example. So your warnings about fear are ill-advised. And you would do well not to move to Algeria.

Taking a common sense approach is not giving in to fear or being led by fear. Using common sense in all areas of life is a good way to live ... even if God sends you into dangerous places. If you are in a potentially dangerous place common sense becomes even more important.

Christ giving his final command before ascending to heaven was not a command to seek a safe life. It was a command to go into the world and sometimes that world is dangerous. We should follow as we are led, even into danger ... how else will Christ's message be taken into the world if we live in save Christian ghettos.
