    MP, you made my day with this link! Just finished sending it to all my "over-the-hill" email buddies.

    Sure did bring back memories.

    I remember that any trip was made nicer and shorter by virtue of being on the lookout for "BURMA-SHAVE" signs.

    (Wouldn't surprise me if they were on the streets of gold. :tongue3:)

    The question of whether a mutation is "beneficial" or not should properly be taken from the view of the nectarine. That is to say: is the mutation helpful to the survival of the peach? Do fuzzless peaches survive better?

    Back in May of this year I became a mutant. I put my pinkie finger in the way of a 20 ton press and cut part of it off. Now, I'm a mutant. And I have to say I found the whole experience to be negative. :eek:
