My Best Friend has been telling rumors about me, what should I do?

    I really need some help. I just found out some things that my best friend has been telling others and well, I am not to happy about that. What should I do? Please help me!!

    I would think a confrontation is possibly in order. Pray about it first.

    Put it in God's hands. Pray, and pray some more. When you read your Bible, pray for God's direction. I've had this happen a few times to me. I've either confronted them in a gentel manor {or as close as I could get to at the time! :eek: } or simply ignored it. If you take a stand for Christ, people will say things. Thing is, you know the truth, God knows the truth, and the people that really matter to you know the truth {most likely}. If it's a really close friend, then I would at least stress the fact that I don't apreciate them saying untrue things.

    I want to thank everyone who has helped me with this problem!! At Revival last night it seemed that God was talking straight to me and my friend and well, we got everything RIGHT!! Please just keep praying for me and my family. I hope to see you all back on here real soon.

    Friends that talk behind your back are not friends. I've been there and done that before. Just trust and follow the Lord and he will lead you in the paths you must trod. It won't always be a bed of roses I can assure you, but I wouldn't trade anything the 19 years I was blessed with on this earth. I havn't spent all of it for God like I should have, but I'm looking foward to the years ahead that I can spend working for him. He is my Best Friend. Your Friend in Christ, Christfollower55.

    I know things won't be like they use to between my friend and me. Atleast she doesn't ignore me any more. I Jesus made us get mad at each other so I would get closer to Him. Since we have been fighting I have been praying more, reading my bible more, and even being a good witness for God. Thank you all for your help. I can't wait to hear from you all.
