My mother got saved last night!

My mom has always tried to be Christ like and a good church person, etc. I don't want to put words in her mouth, but last night she realized she has never been a sinner, that is, she has never realized she is a sinner. When she thought she was saved when she was a kid, she was scared of going to hell, but she never realized that she herself was a sinner. This had been bugging her for a while and the fact that she didn't remember how old she was (she knew within a few years when it happened).

So last night she realize that she is a sinner (not just "realized" but I mean realized) and she got off the piano (she is out church's pianist) and came crying to the front and asked the Lord to save her! :) She now said she is now able to sleep.

Oh, and she said the main turning point was when our pastor's wife got saved last week (as well as a young preacher, a 73 year old church member, and several others).

The reason they weren't saved they said? They said they had never realized they were a sinner. Simple thing but most important. God came to save sinners, He came to save lost people, and that's what He does, has done, and is doing!

BTW, I love this sermon!

Isn't it great when someone gets saved again. We rejoice with you. My own brother has gotten saved 5 times. I am hoping one of these times he will truely repent and realize he is a sinner.

I don't know the context of the situation, but in all honesty, only the Holy Spirit can do such.

Has he ever went to Camp Zion in Myrtle, Miss.? It's just a place where you go and here preaching for several straight days. Many people have been saved there, in fact, this past July, around 40 people were saved during one service. :)

Yes, it does sound like revival.

And you can send some our way!

Our country needs revival.
