I have begun putting together what I believe to be solid church history. If anyone is interested in reading this and offering critique or even ridicule the link is below:

Any suggestions, sources for bibliography is appreciated.

    Ridicule will be filed :D

The only problem I see is a typographical error on page two... It should say hear instead of here... Other wise I give it and A but a slight deduction in spelling... I would have given it an A+... Author author... More more!... Your buddy in Christ and spell checker... Brother Glen [IMG]

I have read back over the pages and found the following paragraph in which I think you are referring to the word "here", correct me if I am wrong.

I will from the start give my affiliation to this subject and the reader can then make judgment concerning the accomplishment. As the reader you always possess that authority. I would not ask for a blind acceptance of what you read here , but that you pursue the subject as far as you are able in order that your decision be made based upon the facts at hand and not from your own notion of what is fact and what is fiction.

What is meant by this is that which is read 'here' in the following pages. If you think it would be best to make this clarification I will change it to read: "I would not ask for a blind acceptance of what you read here in the following pages."

    What do you think?

Wow! I am impressed, Brother Dallas. You wrote this:

"Baptism in its proper mode with the proper subject is the entrance into the Church.

Note that I said entrance into the Church and not that Baptism in its proper mode in any way affects the position of ones soul before God"

So do you consider an unbaptized believer to a member of the church universal and a baptized believer to be a member of simply a local church?

    Thanks Bro. Ken,

Recall the distinctions I listed under the thread concerning Matt. 25.1-13:

    </font>
    • The Kingdom of God</font>
    • The Family of God</font>
    • The Kingdom of Heaven</font>
    • The Church</font>
I consider a baptized believer a member of the church; a believer, but not baptized is then a member of the Family of God; The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven is something more difficult to distinguish, but I believe the Kingdom of Heave will be revealed as Matt. 25 speaks; after the events of Matt. 24; Then I believe the Kingdom of God is the time that the Kingdom will have been delivered to God by Christ (I Cor. 15).

The absence of proper scriptural baptism is all that prevents one from being in the Church; but being a believer is what makes one a member of the Family of God.

Hope that clarifies my belief more fully.

    Thanks for the reply.

    God Bless.
    Bro. Dallas
