I just got a new Bible as a gift. It's called "The Life Connecting Bible" and it's a New Century Version. Anyone had a chance to check it out yet? :wavey::godisgood:

I don't like the NCV. I realise Nelson is really trying to push this version, but between the paraphrasing and the gender inclusive language, I don't purchase it.

It's not a fav of mine either. However it's not a paraphrase -- it's a real translation. The old Living Bible is an example of a true paraphrase.
