New Family leave law in NY

Effective 1 Jan 23- New Yorkers will now be allowed to take family leave to care for siblings - in addition to new children, parents, grandparents and grandchildren.
Under NY law, eligible workers can take up to 12 weeks off at 67% of their pay.
And who pays - the employer - who in turn will raise his prices......

The company I write software for has a 12 week, pully paid parental leave policy for biological new fathers or adopted new fathers. 16 weeks for mothers.

I don't think the policy was written with Evangelicals in mind, because if we wind up getting the 8 kids we want I'm going to have 2 years of paid family leave on top of my usual time off haha.
