    I see by the heading that rsr has been made a moderator in this Baptist History Forum. Congratulations!

    Stephen, I had felt (and still do) that you would make a good moderator for this forum. Though we sometimes have a different perspective on Baptist History, I feel that you are knowledgeable on the subject and fair-minded as well. I am glad to see that you are here to help Brother Glen. Best wishes to you in your new job!

    You got it exactly right, Robert. I'm here to help Brother Glen. What's this about a sabbatical?

    With all the moderators that it's been my pleasure to deal with on this forum, I have been impressed by their fair-mindedness, tact and decorum. I hope that will continue, because there are plenty of other places for SHOUTING.

    rsr...congratulations! You are very knowledgeable about such things, and very deserving of this position.

    Oh...will you be adding more update furniture to this forum? The avacado couch, with gold in it, Looks a little faded.

    The only furniture I know on here is the Baptist hammock I have tied between two trees... The OT and the NT!... Where I enjoy the Baptist breeze [​IMG] ... Brother Glen [​IMG]

    HA! That explains it then! Leaves from the tree! Ahhhhhhh....thats not gold I see...thats dried leaves! Get a broom rsr...clean that hammock up!

    Do you think we could at least get a picnic table around here? I like to take notes, and need somewhere to sit down.

    I concur with Brother Robert, Stephen. I, too, have long felt that you have the makings of a great moderator, especially in this forum! I'm pleased to see you picked up "denominations" as well. Maybe now we can even get Jeff Weaver cranked back up!

    BTW, I never got around to answering you on that thread I yanked out of the archive: no, I never did post a subject about my first vehicle, but someday between the Bible reading and moderating the SHOUTING forums I hope to!
