Let me borrow a phrase, ‘he’s not my president’, since I will not be attending any SBC churches going forward. I was waiting to see the outcome this year after being sorely disappointed the last couple of years. The sweep is complete. I’ll be shopping for an unaffiliated Baptist church.
I have my reservations. He is careful to only almost tell you what he believes. I like the fact he is somewhat Charismatic. I detest his statements about who Allah is. I don't like the fact he is a Calvinist, is not a Calvinist, is a Calvinist, is not a Calvinist.
Why is it that liberals want to run everything? Or do they just take over when everything else decays?
He has, leading up to this election, been very vague about his Soteriology. I believe it was purposeful. His church has in the recent past not even known they were SBC. I suppose they have to know now. He lacks forthrightness.
I do not understand his Soteriology at all.
if he really supports charasmatic chaos, and sees Allah and Yahweh as one and the same, pretty much sums up his theology!!
He probably is a "vaugu arminian", who slid in among the "rampant Calvinist takeover" of the SBC!
Uh no he is a calvinist and there is not yet a take over.
Most calvinists do not agree with Charasmatic Chaoes, nor mixing up Allah and Yahweh!
There is a whole wing of calvies that do, largely those over at SBC Voices
They would be confused ones then!

Would they be those who hold to God still operating just the same way as He did in Acts?
