The homicide bombings in Israel continue. AND THEY WILL CONTINUE AFTER ISRAEL IS FORCED TO RELINQUISH JERUSALEM!

    Link – Jerusalem Prayer Team

    I am angry.

But what makes me angrier still is the news article I posted above how this Administration has threatened sanctions against Israel if they do not accept this Road Map from Hell!

I supported President Bush in the War in Iraq (for humanitarian reasons).

I do NOT support this Road Map & have written & told him so.

I have no doubt that President Bush has been advised that pushing through this Road Map for creation of a Palestinian State would gain him the American Muslim vote in the next election. And pro-active Muslim groups have been flooding the White House with emails.

To me it has seemed for awhile that he has turned his back on Evangelical Christians, including Arab American Christians, but now he is turning his back on Israel!

In the process of all of this, however, President Bush will lose my vote & the votes of MANY Evangelical Christians in this Country, the very base that helped elect him in 2000. And he will sacrifice the votes of American Jews & many Conservative Christian Arabs, as well.

This topic is being discussed without end by Conservative Christians; a relative even heard it discussed on the 700 Club today.

I believe that if President Bush continues to pursue this Road Map from Hell, we are going to pay a HEAVY PRICE as a Nation. God has blessed America. God continues to bless America. And I believe a big part of that blessing is because America has been a friend to Israel.

And if this Road Map continues, I predict President Bush will lose the election in 2004. And perhaps a Jew by the name of Joseph Lieberman or half-Jewish man by the name of John Kerry will end up being the Democratic candidate & be the next President of the United States.

I am not posting this information or my anger about this Road Map for debate. I will not debate you if you try to bring up dispensations, pre-trib, post-trib, how Palestinians have a right for a state, Replacement Theology (the Church took the place of Israel), or whatever. I am not posting this for debate.

But….if YOU love Israel, as I do. If you believe Israel is the Apple of God’s Eye, as He says in His Word. If you believe Jerusalem is the City of David and not the city of the Muslims, and that Israel remain God’s chosen people and what President Bush is doing is WRONG…

Then I urge you to write him & let him know.

I have, several times. I have written my Senators and Congressman. (It is reported that most of Congress is AGAINST the Road Map.)

I am planning to write to the Jerusalem Post. I am planning to write to the Mayor of Jerusalem, the Israeli Embassy, Mr. Sharon, and anyone & everyone I can think of, to let them know, to let the Nation of Israel know....

PRESIDENT BUSH DOES NOT SPEAK FOR ME IN SELLING OUT ISRAEL. And as a born-again Christian Conservative, AND as an American taxpayer, I am angry that he is betraying our long-time friend & democracy in my name.

I encourage you to write the President if you feel as strongly as I do.

WRITE YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS (Senator & Congressperson)-- CLICK HERE

Site E-Mail Form for U.S. State Department (Colin Powell)

Time is of the Essence - President Bush is going to the Middle East next week re: the Road Map.

Am posting this for action / information only – not debate.

I am praying that the Road Map will be used by God to bring peace to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict so that both peoples, especially the children on both sides, can live in peace, live long, and live prosperously. I hope that all followers of the Prince of Peace will be doing likewise.

I pray that both the Israelis and the Palestinians will love their children more than they hate each other.

KenH I am also praying for God's direction in these new peace talks in the Mideast. I thank God that President Bush has the fortitude to take the high road and insist on the establishment of a Palistinian autonomous state. Praise the Lord!

Amazing how your Escatology affects your politics. Who was the "Temple of Satan" Jesus was referring too?

    I said I wasn't going to debate this, and I won't.

Nothing amazing to it....the Bible, which I accept in its ENTIRETY and LITERALLY as being God's Word, is the basis for ALL of my core beliefs. And the fact that Israel is God's chosen people and the "apple of God's eye" and Jerusalem is the City of David are part of my core beliefs because the Bible says so. Nothing amazing about it.

By the way, I also accept the Bible in its ENTIRETY and within the context as a WHOLE. Just because someone doesn't agree with all of your interpretations does not mean he doesn't believe the Bible in its ENTIRETY. :D

The high road? The President starts wars with one third world country after another in his "war on terror", and then he expects Israel to cave in to terrorist demands. They live with terrorist suicide bombers daily. Surely they have as much of a right, if not more, as the US to declare war on terrorism.

Obviously you have no idea of the history of this conflict. All Palistinians are not terrorist. There are some Palistinians who are terrorist ... and over the years some Israelis have been terrorist. The only road to peace is for the roadmap by President Bush to succeed. Two homelands. This is not a religious matter this is a matter of settling long term differences and trying to bring peace to this bloodlied real estate. Bravo President Bush! May God bless you in this endeavor.

I just wonder if God blesses President Bush with success will the dispensational premillennialists that voted for him in 2000 still vote for him in 2004?

Unfortunately, there are groups like Hamas on the Palestinian side that don't want peace between the two sides if Israel continues to exist. Do dispensational premillennialists want peace between the two sides if it means the creation of a Palestinian state that includes eastern Jerusalem? As followers of the Prince of Peace they should.

Both Hamas and Hezballah (sp??) are bad organizatins with strong political motivation to get rid of the Israelis. Pray that the new prime minister, Bush and even Y. Arafat can reign these people in ... There will be no peace in region as long as they keep up this fight. I am under the impression that these groups are comprised of Arabs for several countries.

I don't it matters one way or the other to the President how dispensatinal premillenialist vote they at best are a fringe group among evangelicals. Tim LaHaye's books made it seem like they are bunches ... but they are not. Thanks be unto God!

They seem intent to move every Palistinian out of the Land ... then the temple can be rebuild and Jesus will get the green light to come rapture the church (disp/premills) out .. and who knows things may get better (tic) ...

But then we wouldn't have anyone to argue over eschatology with if the dispensational premillennialists aren't here. :(

I have a little idea, although I'll admit I'm no expert.

    I agree completely.

It won't work. First off, the land in question never belonged to the nation of Palestine in the first place, it belonged to Jordan. Secondly, the Palestinians don't even acknowledge Israel's right to exist, so giving them land at gunpoint will not stop the violence, because the Palestinians have said several times that they will only be satisfied with the complete elimination of Israel. Remember, Barak was willing to concede nearly everything that Arafat was asking. It was Arafat who walked out of the peace process and started the latest wave of violence that has been going for several years.

Right. This is a matter of outright hatred. As long as Ishmal still hates Isaac, then land for peace will never work.

If Israel retreats to the pre 1967 borders, they will be unable to defend themselves short of using nuclear weapons. Have you ever heard of Operation Sampson? They nearly used it in 67, and if they ever had to use it now, there would be no Middle East to worry about. I don't think any of us wants to see that.

Let me finish with this. If I read the prophecies correctly, the only one who will be able to bring peace to Israel is the antichrist. If the roadmap is indeed the pathway to peace in Israel, think of the implications of that. As an supporter of Pres Bush, that's a thought that's not very appealing.

    Love in Christ,
    Larry

Personally, I find dispensational premillennialism to be bad theology and an extremely poor attempt at Biblical interpretation ever since it was started about 1830. Just look at how it looks at this situation. If the Road Map works(and I pray to God that He will bring it to fruition), then dispensational premillennialists will be forced to call President Bush the antiChrist to be consistent with their flawed system of interpretation. Then again, dispensational premillennialists might finally realize that Hal Lindsey, Tim LaHaye, and all that bunch have been wrong all along and dump them and their flawed interpretation and switch to one of the Biblical sound eschatologies such as historical premillennialism, postmillennialism, or amillennialism.

    historical premillennialism, postmillennialism, or amillennialism.

KenH: You forgot that all important pan-millennialism ... you know .. Jesus is gonna come back and everything will pan out!

Operation Sampson Larry what in the world is this .. I can't find any reference to it except from www.herdofsheep.com with reference to Libya and cutting off Quadaffi (sp?) hair and I really thing that it was just a spoof on a CIA/UK plan. Please explain.

BTW, Larry, who are all of those people who have been living in Palistine since the time of Christ? I mean those non-Jews? Who were the 1000s who were put out of their ancestral homes at the Balfour Declaration? This is before Jordan came into existence ... 100rds of years before. Please explain. Thanks.

Operation Sampson is a doomsday plan I read about several years ago. I don't have the exact source, but I'll try to find it. Remember how Sampson took out his captors after he started to regrow his hair? He caved in the pillars, taking out his enemies along with himself. That's more or less what Operation Sampson is. Israel will not surrender to her enemies. They will detonate all of their nuclear warheads, taking out themselves along with their enemies.

They are Arabs, the same as the Saudis, Syrians, ect. What does this have to do with Israel? As you said, they were put out hundreds of years ago, long before Israel came into existence. Israel annexed the lands in question from Jordan after the six day war. If the lands are to be returned, it should be Israel's decision alone, but they should never give in to terrorist demands. What would this country think of Bush if he caved in to terrorists?

The Balfour dec. was in 1948. There were Palistinians living in Palistine at that time. Don't these people deserve a homeland. They were literally put out of their homes ... homes that had been in their families for hundreds of years. These are the people I am talking about. Pallistinians not Arabs. When did Jordan, SA, Iraq, Iran come into exixtence? These Palistinians have been their since the time of Christ. They have as much right to a part of the Land as the Israelis. I am sorry Larry but I do not believe that the Israelis of today are equal to the Jews of the O. T. times.

Thank you, Joseph, for your post. It looks like I may have been wasting my breath with my emails. But, I'm occupying & trying my best until Jesus comes! Sometimes I feel like I'm wasting my breath, time, or keystrokes on here, too.

But you know what? I will go down with my last dying breath fighting for Israel & Israel's right to exist in the Land God gave her, even if I wasn't a pre-trib or dispy, I would fight for Israel with the resources available to me. Because I love Israel. God says if we bless Israel, He will bless us. He never withdrew that promise. [IMG]

I love Israel because if it weren't for Israel, I would never have known my Redeemer.

I have never had the privilege to go there & walk where Jesus walked. My parents & people I know have gone there and were blessed. It is a shame what the Holy Land has become with homicide bombers blowing people up and walking around with AK-47s on some of the very hills were Jesus walked! How His heart must break! He died, the people that live there can't even see, He died so they don't have to! But one day, they will see - the whole world will see when He comes back, not as the Lamb, but as the King of Kings & Lord of Lords! Hallelujah, I could shout! [IMG]

Joseph, I am to the point where I agree with just about everything you wrote in your post. I supported President Bush in the war effort, but I noticed his pro-Muslim stance right after 09/11. And I have watched as he publicly denounced, turned his back on Evangelical Christians like Franklin Graham.

I pity our nation when our back has turned against Israel, and the Bush administration will be to blame for what happens to us. Our blood will be on his hands. And Israel's blood will be on his hands. Our nation is so wicked now, I truly believe God has spared us because we have befriended Israel. This all sickens me. But God will fight for little Israel, watch & see. He may just wash His hands of America, though.

God warns us to beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. He even says the very Elect will be deceived. Perhaps the very Elect have been deceived. [IMG]

    Even so, Come, Lord Jesus.
