    Earle hasn't, to the best of my knowledge, broken any laws even if it does turn out, as I believe it will, that the charges his made against DeLay are unfounded. Not all things that are wrong are illegel before the law.

    It's more like extortion! It's cheaper to pay the "fine" than it is to fight it in court for the principle.
