From another thead:
Why does one small state carry so much weight in our national political relm.
NH only has 4 EC (which = less than 1% of the total EC)
In addition NH is 93% white
20% are religious - (USA=40%)
Population= 1,359,711 (41 out of 50)
(KY = 4.5 million - 1.3%
Not exactly representative of the USA.
So here is my suggestion
Since we know that NH has a law that they must be the first primary of presidential years.
Then lets see every New England State have a primary that same week as NH.
So lets look at the stats
NH........ = 4 EC
Vermont = 3
Maine.....= 3
Mass......= 7
Rhode I..= 4
Conn......=11
Total....... =32 = 5% of all EC
Since NH wants to be first - than the other 5 states/commonwealth would be the same week as NH.
This way we would get a better representation of the
citizens of the USA
One other thing, I would like to see would be for the smaller States/Commonwealth to have their primaries before the larger one.
For example Wyoming comes after Calif, VA, Tx, ect -
Except in a very close primary - Wyoming will not have a major effect
thus, many will not even cast a presidential primary ballot.

We should start seeing "unofficial" visits to New Hampshire and Iowa by potential GOP candidates this Spring. Nikki Haley, Kristi Noem, and 2016 GOP runner up Ted Cruz are names that come to mind. Rand Paul may try again. There will be the usual cadre of RINOS like the traitorous John Kasich. Of course, potential candidates rise or fall in the polls based on many different factors. In the meantime the focus should be on ousting RINOS from the House and Senate.
