Yes. If a person in acquitted of assassinating the President in Federal Court, he could still be tried for murder in State court.

Yes or No: If the man in this item were to be tried at the federal level, would it be the same offense-- beating the man who molested his daughter, resulting in his death?

I fail to see any way there would be Federal jurisdiction in this case.
