The reasoning is sound. A same-sex marriage is not a marriage, therefore the man is not married to his partner. However, I'd be interested in knowing the "story behind the story." How does the guy at the center of the scenario go from being involved in a homosexual relationship in one state to a real marriage in North Dakota? If his wife is smart, she'll think twice about trusting his faithfulness, his veracity, and his whereabouts.
