    My prediction:

House: Democrats pick up 15 seats. Ends up being 218 Republicans, 217 Democrats.

Senate: Democrats pick up 4 seats. Ends up being 51 Republicans, 49 Democrats.

Yep, the Liberal Press is declaring the victory of the
IRAQI lead world terrorists. Strange how easy it is for the
Liberal Press to float yellow belly up in the water :applause:

    Oops, I mixed a metaphor: :tongue3:

    1. Yellow belly - cowardice
    2. float belly up in the water - dead

    What are you talking about?

If you are calling the MSM the Liberal Press and Democrats Iraqi world terrorists, then you are sorely deluded.

I think it will not be that close. We have political heavy weights working overtime on this election including on the GOP side, President Bush and John Kerry.

If you accept the idea that Bush is America, then a defeat of Bush is a victory for the terrorists.

If you accept the idea that his war in Iraq was good for the terrorists (as his own intelligence people now admit) then a defeat of Bush is a victory for America.

It's probably too late to undo all the help he has given the terrorists. But it's possible to keep him from making it worse.

    I hope.

Have you talked to God about this? I have and I don't get this take on it. Other than my family, GWB is one I'm led to pray for most, as he's protected us and liberated millions. Efforts by the leftists here at home have confounded his work greatly though.

Liberated millions? Have you taken a look at what the Iraqi's "liberation" looks like? It looks like big brother on steroids. That isn't liberation that's coercion and intimidation, big difference.

I would point out that this is exactly what the liberal news media has been so diligent in portraying, and we are believing it. The Iraqi people are scared to death that we'll leave them to their own version of the killing fields.

    Don't worry, he's got God's thumbs-up on the situation.

Such arrogance, but I've learned to expect it from you, Hillclimber.

Wow, Hillclimber. I didn't know that God has you on his speed dial. Next time he calls, can you conference me in?

    Thanks,

Are you saying that you dont believe in prayer and the guidence of the Holy Spirit?

Now, I dont know that God has given his thumbs up as Terry has called it, that is between Hillclimber and God. But I am surely not going to discount Hillclimbers opinion because he has prayed about it.

It seems to me that you are saying that God does not give guidence and answer questions in prayer. And you even mock prayer calling it speed dial. MP do you want to clarify what seems to be a mocking attitude toward prayer and guidence from God.

Many liberal Christians forget that Bush is President because God willed it so.

It would surprise me if many of them prayed for him.

Here in Central Oklahoma, God's Throne Room is a local call.

(This is a paid advert of the Central Oklahoma Chamber of
    Commerce :) )

I think you are defending me DJ, and I thank you for that. But perhaps I did say that wrong. It's more like the longer I pray and study the Word, the more comfortable I am in the direction my prayer life goes. It is very hard to explain and not at all totally infallable. But I know in some areas that I am right in praying the way I am. I remember during the Clinton administration I was led to pray for his (and her) salvation, (still do) and I'm not led to that at all with GWB.

The world class terrorists are Iraqi (not all Iraqi, just
6% or less). The Iraqi terrorists are trying to throw the
US Election toward the Democrats. This is fact, not
delusion. The MSM statement is specific; my statement is
a general statement. Thee Sis, thee may be the deluded???

Some liberation. There have been Christians in what is now Iraq for 2000 years. Soon there will be none, as they flee persecution unleased by Bush's invasion.

BTW, I pray daily for Bush. I pray even more fervently for America, in the hope that he will somehow become competent and develop the character to lead us.
