I agree. There will be hordes of them bowing toward Mecha inside the facility. If this is truly a museum to honor the victims, there is no need to display their pictures and quotes to keep history in perspective. Stating their objective plain and simple is enough to do so. We don't need to see their mugs and read their battle cries!

There are other ways to go about something objectively.

    Again, it's a museum, not a memorial.

I just do not trust anything done in this type venue to remain a "MUSEUM' - it will soon be taken over by Muslims and/or Bleeding Hearts to show the "evil USA"!

If anything is done, it should be a memorial to the victims, PERIOD -nothing more.

Just my own red-neck, patriotic, red/white/blue opinion!!!!!!

Then, your objection is to it being a museum. That's a different topic altogether.

Sometimes showing people man's inhumanity to man may get some to think. After all, we have a holocaust museum in DC. Although I have not been inside, I would be surprised if the Nazis were not mentioned.

I would be very surprised if it contained NAZI and SS quotes justifying the slaughter of Jews and other nationalities. This is exactly what the builders of the NY structure seem to be doing.

    Wrong!!

Pardon me if I was unclear. My objection is that if the "justification garbage" from the Muslim viewpoint is included, THEN the Muslims and/or the bleeding hearts of this country will use this as a staging point to villify the USA.

A "museum" should just display facts about a subject, not the various emotions behind it. Otherwise, IMHO, it becomes a memorial to some idea or group, whether that is the initial purpose or not.

As Joe Friday used to say "Just the facts, maam."

Aren't the reasons, however warped, part of the facts?

    From your OP:
    Bolded mine

This doesn't cut it for me as "REASONS" - seems more like propaganda and just the stuff other jihadists would love to use to morph a museum into a MEMORIAL for their soul-mates & fellow seekers of the 72 virgins.

And the bleeding heart PCists, naturally, would think it was a wonderful idea.

You said your objection was to the inclusion about information of the perpetrators. So you only want certain facts inclued, but want certain other facts exccluded.

JV, perhaps I'm being to foggy in my writing, but I see nothing I've said that justifies this conclusion.

Please re-read what I've actually stated, and not do as many libs do by drawing a conclusion from partial/faulty reading, and telling me what I meant to say!

Again, you're objecting to the inclusion of certain facts. That negates your claim that you're okay with facts being represented. Also, you're saying that you don't object to a museum, but your original post says "it should be a memorial to the victims, PERIOD -nothing more".
