Remember when former President Barack Obama mocked then Republican nominee Donald Trump for unveiling his plans to create millions of new jobs?

In a June 2016 town hall style forum, Obama was asked about Carrier Corp. jobs leaving Indiana.

Specifically, Obama was asked about comments made by then-candidate Trump that he would bring Carrier jobs — among many others — back to the United States with his economic policies.

A man named Eric Cunningham said he noticed manufacturing jobs were leaving the country, with jobs no where to be found in Indianapolis.

Obama responded by not only denigrating Trump, but also by mocking his ambitious economic agenda and suggesting he would never be able to bring jobs back in the large numbers he suggested.

“When somebody says like the person you just mentioned who I’m not going to advertise for, that he’s going to bring all these jobs back. Well how exactly are you going to do that? What are you going to do? There’s no answer to it,” Obama said, refusing to even say Trump’s name.

“He just says, ‘I’m going to negotiate a better deal.’ Well how? How exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually the answer is, he doesn’t have an answer,” Obama continued condescendingly.

Obama has always been an economic illiterate. Every time he opens his mouth and speaks on the economy, he shows us just how ignorant he is.

Carrier Corp.is now a dirty word up here in Syracuse. . Some 15 years ago - Carrier laid off about 12 hundred employees. About the only thing left here is the R&D and Training division.
They also gave a good portion of their property to the Town for use of sports fields. Translation - they dont have to pay taxes on that land anymore.

Also has been some talk of renaming the Syracuse University Carrier Dome!

Lots of jobs coming back... lots of companies coming back... lower taxes...

Folks getting all that -- only to be told they should be mad ... not that big of a group. The "we choose doom and demise" policy of the democrat party is not going to be seen as the "best option" by a great many Americans.

Obama promised the "best oversight of demise" that the country has ever seen. Making the best of every failing scenario that is proceeding to an even worse failing scenario.
