OBama lied yet again in SOTU

I have to give him credit though, contrary to past SOTU's he actually admitted that Al Quaida is not on the run, as he has claimed in the past, and they are a threat.

Obama, sorry to say, is a stranger to the truth. I sometimes wonder if he is insane? Another lie that he told was about domestic oil production--that occurred against his wishes and he has done everything possible to keep the price of gasoline high and keep domestic production down.

I think that it is time that the SOTU speech be changed into an e-mail sent to the office of each member of the House and Senate. I would be for a Constitutional amendment to abolish the SOTU, especially with liars like Obama and Lyndon Johnson and off the wall types like Carter.

The sad thing is that Obama is the greatest Democrat ever, which isn't saying much.

It is here in the Pacific Northwest.
Every day the weather is unike the previous day here in NW WA.
The constant is the rain, then there is, fog, cold, snow, etc...

What the progressive propagandists have done is to equate normal climate change with "global warming" so they can practise orwellian doublethink.

The COTUS does NOT require a POTUS to give a speech - he must simply make a report.

Prior to Woodrow Wilson, , most Presidents delivered the State of the Union as a written report

Yeah, you are exactly right! We need to go back to that kind of written report. I have watched many of those speeches and they don't amount to a hill of beans. I guess the country will go on someway no matter what they do or don't do in Washington, DC.

I think that everyone is just tired of hearing Obama's lies.

OK, I will give you an example, TND. Recall how smoothly Obama handled Iran at the UN. Then look at how Truman won WWII by attacking Japan. Obama would have avoided all that by stopping Japan from walking out of the League of Nations after the rape of China.

OK, I see that my beautiful theory got mugged by a brutal gang of facts. You win--I will start calling Obama the second greatest Democrat ever. After all, Truman probably didn't want to be called "messiah" but Obama doesn't put a stop to it when they call him that.

Of course Obama lied. He's a politician. He lies, both of the Bush's lied, Clinton lied, Reagan lied(gasp!!), Carter lied, Ford lied, Nixon most assuredly lied, Kennedy lied, Einsenhower lied, Truman lied and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on....

It's the proverbial broken record. The surefire way to know a politician is lying is watching for his mouth to open....

I get tired of seeing these responses. Downplaying their lying is not helpful. By the way I am not aware of any lies Reagan or Bush told. Anyway regardless of which party it is it should not be dismissed or made fun of. It is a serious issue.

Look, what's pathetic is the options we have coming down the pike in 2016. The GOP wants to ship our jobs overseas to make their big company supporters more profits by paying for cheaper labor with little to no healthcare funding. The Dems are so far left that all they want to do is kill babies and be "gay is hooray"!! I'm sorry, but the "voting for the lesser of two evils" just ain't for me. Voting for the lesser evil is still voting for evil.
