The Tea Party, Libertarians and Republicans scream about reducing government regulations. Obama has done so numerous times. Why is he not given any credit for doing what the TP, the Ls and the Rs say they want?

I used the title from the link. They used the term alter. I heard part of this on NPR this evening as I drove to my volunteer work. Unfortunately I did not hear the entire piece.
