This is most magnanimous of a man who has been so maligned by the opposition. Cheers to him. Canada bows.

Cheers,

Jim

America will bow too.. but not to the lil Messiah.. it is just a political move... Obama is the perfect politician.

EVery Knee will bow one day to the real KING.

Every preacher is God's spokesman...

To preach thus sayeth the Lord and not their own word.

And a preacher that won't preach pro-life, is not called by God....
For Jesus came to give Life, not death.

So you have a scripture that says a preacher must vote pro-life to be called by God. I thought the Lord could call who He will.

Do you recall this commandment?

Ex 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

I believe that the election of Barack Obama as president is a blessing from God, not a judgment. :godisgood:

For the record, I no longer buy into the laissez-faire economics of Ron Paul. Just look at the mess that such nonsense during the Bush administration has caused. Practical experience has taught me to reject laissez-faire economics. If that makes me a "communist" in the eyes of some conservatives, then so be it.
Why is that? Because Ron Paul stands for the Constitution, where others have distorted it? You know, things like abolishing the Federal Reserve. Or is it the gold standard you do not like? Yes indeedy, the debt standard is working just fine.

1. Individuals will bow to God.

2. The only people on this board I see calling Obama a messiah are right-wingers, not those of us who voted for him. I think it is wrong for right-wingers to attempt to cynically equate Barack Hussein Obama with our Lord Jesus Christ.

We have seen in the last year that laissez-faire economics don't work for 95% of us, only for the top 5%.
We haven't seen laissez-faire economics in a long time. What we witnessed is a result of an intrusive central government.

Are you the same Curtis who complains about my comments and lack of dialog?

Yup. No dialogue with preachers who say killing babies is OK.

Sorry you aren't as convicted as I am.

How do you feel about killing babies in the womb ?

Perhaps it is disgusting to you but do you have scripture that confirms God shares your feelings?

I'm not going to drag scripture thru your garbage anymore, LB.

Class would be if he honored Palin. She was the only one in the campaign who showed backbone and shined the light on the kind of man Obama is.

AMEN TO THAT, BrotherAaron. This is just one rich D.C. insider tipping his hat to another one.

Why should he honor someone who proved during the campaign that she is nowhere near ready to be vice president, much less president of the United States?

Giving who he's put in his cabinet & the policy switches he made, why should we believe anything would change ? Why can't we be critical of that ?

I get the feeling that no matter what the new president does it is going to be wrong for some folks.

You are correct. It will be the same people that complained that people were 'bashing' Bush, now the tables have turned and it's their time to do some bashing..

Politics... same song... different person..

It's times like this I wish the Politics section of this board was backed up. Then it would be really easily to see how people were complaining about the Bush bashing and now they're just doing the same to Obama...

In 4 - 8 years, the song will be the same, only the person will change... It certainly would be nice if we could ever get out of this rut...

Nothing new...

Absolutely correct. If people criticized their boy, it was bashing. Now it is a flurry of the same before the guy even gets the oath of office out of his mouth. If you criticized Bush, you were a 'Bush Hater', 'Bush Basher', and unpatriotic for not supporting the President. Oh, but now we have the wailing and gnashing of teeth when the shoe is suddenly on the other foot.

I wonder what would have been the response if someone called Bush 'antichrist', 'little messiah', or 'God's judgement on America' and that if you voted for him, you were not a Christian or were not a loyal American.

Well, I, for one, wish I had paid better attention to some of the more informed Bush critics, instead of writing them off......

I don't think LeBuick believes in "killing in the womb" as you say. This is just another falsehood you continue to perpetuate.

Sorry you aren't as convicted as I am.

I guess we can't all be as holy as you.

How do you feel about killing babies in the womb ?

We raised all the babies we were given, haven't killed a one of them.
