"Last November, a reporter asked House Speaker Nancy Pelosi if it was constitutional for Congress to require Americans to buy health insurance. Ms. Pelosi responded, "Are you serious?"

On Monday, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson got serious. He denied Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius's motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought by the state of Virginia challenging the new health law. His ruling stated that it is far from certain Congress has the authority to compel Americans to buy insurance and penalize those who don't."

SNIP

"Judge Hudson ruled that "never before has the commerce clause and associated necessary and proper clause been extended this far."

Judges will be seriously divided on this issue.

Those that follow the Constitution vs. those that prefer to put it aside to suit their own idea of what is "right" and "fair".

James 3:14-16

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

And in your mind this verse applies to this situation by ....?

Both sides have bitter, envying and strife. It is the nature of American politics, it is worldly, "a way that seems right to a man." Envy:1 : painful or resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage. Strife: exertion or contention for superiority. It is evident to me that politicians by nature have great self ambition.
