Obama's blame the insurance industry stunt

Someone else who isn’t too happy with Barack Obama right now is the health insurance industry, who is already attacking the White House plan:

“This doesn’t change anything other than force insurers to be the political flack jackets for the administration,” said an industry insider. “So now when we don’t offer these policies the White House can say it’s the insurers doing this and not being flexible.”

Geez, the insurance industry’s copy of “Barack Obama: How to Throw Anyone and Everyone Under the Bus at a Moment’s Notice” must have gotten lost in the mail.

Yep, this is another pass the blame to someone else tactic by Obama, and I'm afraid it's going to work. Probably no insurance company wants to rescind the cancellation letters they sent out and reinstate old policies. But now the uneducated saps will blame the insurance companies, not Obama.

"But Obama said I could have my old insurance policy reinstated!", they'll scream. And the insurance companies will say "No, sorry, you can't have it. We've already made the policies for 2014 and we're not going back to the old ones."
