    Yes sir, I agree.

The only difference is who is being deceived. I believe it is the one's who follow the course set by the likes of George W. Bush, Karl Rove, and the like. You believe, I think, it is those like myself who support Obama.

I don't agree, but we have freedom to choose for ourselves which is the truth.

Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colors from our sight,
Red is grey, and yellow, white,
But WE decide which is right,
    And which is an illusion.

Ah yes, the Moody Blues with "Night's in White Satin." A wonderful song!

It depends on which state a person lives in. Here is a link:

Go ahead and report yourself, I've got better things to do.

Actually, I don't think you would be much of a threat; people who constantly run off at the mouth are usually harmless.

    So, now, SERIOUSLY speaking.....
Did anyone happen to hear the NPR interview done with the NEW pastor of Obama's church? This question relates to the OP in that the old pastor made the speech necessary to begin with...so it's kinda important to get a feel for the NEW pastor to see if anything has changed. So I was wondering if anyone else heard it and had an impression of this man (sorry, can't remember his name right now and too lazy to google it) and how HE might impact a President Obama.

I didn't see the interview but the Chruch's site still has Rev Wright as pastor.

The interview indicated that Wright stepped down as pastor a month ago, I think...Wait, here's a link to the NPR page that has the radio clip available on it (about 1/3 of the way down the page in the center)...

    http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=88607509

The pastor's name is Otis Moss.

During this election cycle, I'm missing my dear late hubby's 24/7 election coverage, so I'm enjoying all these BB discussions (all sides), and I'm throwing out more stuff that I'd love some feedback on!

What a mess the democratic party has on it's hands.

Obama has the most delegates but not enough to clinch. Now we have Obama in a freefall because of the breaking news of his long ties to a racist congregation, which he claims he will not disassociate himself from.

What a mess. So now the super delegates are in a bind. They must support a candidate who cannot win the general election.

Even with all of his speech giving talent Obama could not deliver a convincing speech to rid himself of this problem. It is growing worse each day.

Many of his hardline supporters where hoping this was a weekend news story and would die, but it is here to remain and will stay with him through the general election.

It is irronic how Obama was hailed as a man who could bring racism to an end but then was found to reside in a racist congregation.

I spoke with two more democrats today and they told me "Obama, no way, they will settle for Hillary". Maybe the PA vote will be a huge shakeup. If Hillary wins REALLY big she will have quite an argument for the super delegates.

It looks like Obama is finished, so it looks like McCain will be our next president.

    God Bless!

You shouldn't bet your rent money on that.

The 7.5 months between now and November 4 will have so many twists and turns, gains and losses of momentum, that it will make your head spin, steaver. This is the 12th one of these I have kept up with since 1964. About the time you think you know how it will turn out the plot takes a brand new turn. :)

    God bless!

What a distortion of the fact by the right-wing. I guess it is wishful thinking. I you check Real Clear Politics you will see that Obama is not in a "free fall" as some here hope.

I still believe that by November, Obama will be the democratic nominee and that he will handily trounce McCain in the 2008 election. If not, McCain will lose to Hillary Clinton, which is alright with me.
