Ken, have they called Arkansas yet?

I might have missed it somewhere.

My goodness, this is insane. The voting was supposed to end here at 7:30 but people are still voting since the lines were too long, some ran out of ballots, some people are fighting to be given paper ballots, etc..
And to make it more interesting, two different polls show two different things...one has Bush in the lead and the other has Kerry.
Actually fun to be in Ohio tonight...

This may end up being an all nighter for me. I'm so hyped now, I'll never fall asleep. How can I possibly start work in the morning?

    Bush wins Louisianna.

This gives him 165 electoral votes.

I am confused how they can call a state for a candidate with less than 5% of the precincts reporting. For instance they are calling Texas for Bush, but only 4% of the 8806 precincts reporting.

Yahoo has called Mississippi for Bush. Fox News has not called that one yet. That must be the difference.

Texas is pretty much a no brainer. We knew they were going for the president 3 months ago. :D

They compare the exit polls for the selected bellwether precincts to the actual votes coming in from those precincts and if they are matching up, they call the State.

Yeah, but they are doing the same in Wyoming, with only 3% reporting. I would think they would wait till at least 50% report before they call the state.

Fox News just called Arkansas, North Dakota, and Michigan for the Marriage ammendments.
