Why would I want to read a book by a heretic? Why do you keep pushing this heresy?

I think it means that the God declared in Scripture is not really God!

humblethinker seems to be hung up on it!

I don't think you can make a blanket statement that Open Theism is heresy.

    Why not???????

Then there is this from Scripture:

    For I am the LORD, I change not;

Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

I am open to some aspects of Open Theism (pardon the pun), based on what I believe about freedom.

My favorite open theist is Clark Pinnock.

In my post I show from the mouth of "Open Theism" that it is heretical. Using the term" temporal" to define God is in itself blasphemous! The following statement:
denies that God knows the future and, therefore, denies God as declared in Scripture.

The god of "Open Theism" is not the God of Scripture. It is a god which is the creation of their sinful imaginations and ego.

I have Pinnock's book from 1984 in which he defends the inerrancy of Scripture. Just shows what age and an ego, stroked by liberals, can do to some people! Sadly some can't blame it on age!

I would remind you what Scripture tells us about
Proverbs 14:12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

can't help but think that IF Paul was walking around today, he would read their works and say"so called wisdom of this age, and foolish /vain speculations/philisophies of man!"

And I would say that it shows what growth in grace and sensitivity to God's leading can do to some people.

    In your opinion.

I am not saying I am an Open Theist. I don't identify with labels or movements generally. I do see some truth in some aspects of it and I understand where Open Theists are coming from.

If you understand where Open Theism comes from then inform all those who believe what Scripture tells us about God. I know where it comes from, the same place that all heresy does!

And some folks find stories of UFO's and Big Foot credible as well. All of them are ridiculous.

And when some folks can't engage in intelligent conversation, they resort to insults and personal attacks.

Maybe someone can explain why my post was edited, but OldRegular's where he said, [corrected]. That looks like a personal attack to me.
