While attending Joplin High School, (TV star Bob) Cummings was taught to fly by his godfather, Orville Wright, the aviation pioneer.[4]

I visited the Wright Brothers museum in Kitty Hawk, NC last summer.
They give an inspiring talk, not to be missed, about the brothers (and sister), about discouragement, tenacity, and a simple kind of genius, leading to great things.
FAR BETTER than anything I've seen in Washington's Smithsonian National Avation museum.
