The over all crime rate has dropped once again nationwide. However, in liberal areas of the country with some of the toughests gun control laws the homicide rate has grown dramatically:

Chicago, NY, D.C., and Baltimore

I really thought Chicago was going to break 500 homicides this year; they only had 499.

Not fair to compare "overall crime rate" to homicide rate. Two different animals.
