the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition
who opposes and exalts himself above
all that is called God or that is worshipped,
so that he sits as God in the temple of God,

showing himself that he is God (2 Th 2:3-4).

The Spirit will not speak on His own authority (John 16:13),

but those sons of perdition declared themselves to be infallible.

For that the papacy has to be omniscient
and thereby made themselves greater than the Holy Spirit.

I suspect that they have been attempting to usurp the power of the HS for years.

I cannot find "successors to the apostles" in the ministry (Eph 4:11, 1 Cor 12:28)
but those who desire an opportunity to be regarded

just as we (the apostles) are in the things of which they boast.
    ....... are false apostles (2 Cor 11:12-13).

Why paraphrase scripture and twist it to your own meaning? Please explain in context what this means to you:
John 16:12–15 (ASV): 12I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. 13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but what things soever he shall hear, these shall he speak: and he shall declare unto you the things that are to come. 14He shall glorify me: for he shall take of mine, and shall declare it unto you. 15All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he taketh of mine, and shall declare it unto you.

It hasn't been established that I twisted 2 Thess 2:3-4,
by asking for an explanation of John 16:12–15.
The latter was addressed to the twelve
and the first was about the sons of perdition.

Not so, infallibility has the Holy Spirit as it's source. The whole of the Church, the Bishop's of the Church coming together in consultation with the Holy Spirit makes the proper determinations for the faithful. You err in thinking the Pope is making all the decisions by himself.

Because you misinterpret the Scriptures and ignore the historical truths of the One Universal Christian Church concerning it's formation and growth from it's earliest days.

I do not base my eternal life
on the Sacred - Sordid Tradition of the RCC,
but on the revelation of the Father, which revealed Jesus as the Saviour.

This thread is closed. As it is now moot since Conqueror is now banned for denial of the inspiration of Luke and Psalms.
