I thought Barry was about bringing us together. Maybe I'm being cynical, but is it a coincidence that the three papers endorsed McCain.

If McCain kicked reporters off his plane whose papers endorsed Barry, they would save on jet fuel and Al Gore would be happy.

    Hmmmm...

Is this the attitude "if you're not for him, you're against him" liberals claimed to despise when Bush said that about America and terrorism?

He's not wasting any time in sending us the message that it's his way or the highway.

Is this the politics of "change" he has been telling us about?

Washington Times kicked off Obama plane for finale The Washington Times Friday, October 31, 2008

The Washington Times, which has covered the Barack Obama campaign from the start, was kicked off the Democrat's campaign plane for the final 72 hours of the race. The Obama campaign informed the newspaper Thursday evening of its decision, which came two days after The Times editorial page endorsed Senator John McCain over Mr. Obama. The Times editorial page runs completely independent of the news department. "This feels like the journalistic equivalent of redistributing the wealth, we spent hundreds of thousands of dollars covering Senator Obama's campaign, traveling on his plane, and taking our turn in the reporter's pool, only to have our seat given away to someone else in the last days of the campaign," said Washington Times Executive Editor John Solomon.

Report: Journalists From Three Newspapers Booted From Obama's Plane

The New York Post and Dallas Morning News also have been kicked off Obama's plane, according to the Web site The Drudge Report. It said the three reporters were told to find alternative transportation by Sunday so that the plane could accommodate "network bigwigs" and reporters from two black magazines, Essence and Jet.

I started a sister thread http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?p=1314229#post1314229 in the politics section before I saw this one...

A one world leader needs complete control of what is being said about him.

Don't be surprised when he buys a media outlet... ooops he already has. Channel 73 on Dishnetwork is now titled "Obama" it's a 24 hour informercial praising him.

I'm suspicious of the news dept being 100% separate from the editorial staff in any newspaper. The material not printed can be more important than the inclusions.

"WWFCD"...What Would Fidel Castro Do. Of course if he booted journalists off his plane, it would have been in mid flight.
