    Why should that surprise anyone in the SBC if you have been keeping up with the SBC. Those "conservatives" are not looking so good. They will just get worse.

    Paige Patterson, the president of SWBTS recently hired a professor who just graduated from Robertson's school.

    I confronted several in person a few years ago. I have also written some personal letters as well. They didn't listen then and wrote me off.

    I smelled a big rat about ten years ago.

    I haven't seen Pat on FN yet. Down here, he's on ABC's Family Channel every night at 10:00.

    FWIW, I contacted both NAMB and FamilyNet .

    BTW, I wouldn't categorize Robertson's speech as "hate-filled," but I would categorize it, as I would much of his theology, as blatantly ignorant. To claim to know what God is doing in particular geo-political situations is ridiculous and presents to a watching world that Christianity is little different than the corner fortuneteller.

    I just realized five or six days ago, that I got family net on my television. Thank God! Everyone on there so far seems to be teaching the Word of God from a conservative point of view, such a nice change from TBN. Very Suprised that they would allow The 700 Club on their station. I doubt the email of a boy 16 years of age will avail much.. but I'll see what I can do.

    I always thought that Robertson wasn't in the same league with the Hinn's and Crouch's. One must remember that Pat Robertson himself is a Southern Baptist! He was ordained as a Southern Baptist minister though he gave that up when he ran for president in 88. He was reordained recently though I'm not sure if it was by a Southern Baptist Church or a Charismatic one.

    Any local church can ordain whomever they want. There are heretical Southern Baptist Churches in the world which are also caught up in the WoF Charasmania. Pat has no business having a show on a national Southern Baptist Station. If his Church wants him to have a show, let them start their own station.

    I'm not sure why Pat needs a show on the Southern Baptist network. It's on ABC Family,TBN,etc. I don't even get this channel where I live so it must not be that big. Pat should save his money and get you guys off his back and drop his show from the network

    I agree. Until then, I think I will stay on his back and on the backs of those who own this station to drop him: The NAMB who is funded partially by me and my Church through the Cooperative Program.
