    We should all HATE heretical teachings, not the teacher. Mr Robertson sure hates alot of things; i.e. Didn't he wish for the assasination of Chavez? I trust his apology was sincere. </font>[/QUOTE]I also hate heretical teaching.
    But Why the hate of Pat Robertson?
    We hve all said things that we had to apologize about.

    Sir Joseph has a hatred of Southern Baptist charismatics.
    Well Get ready dir Joseph,. You will see more SBC Charismatics soon. Like it or not.
    This is a growing Move of God.
    You cannot stop a mighty rushing wind. you can accuse them of being full of NEw Wine. But you cannot stop God from Doing what God is Going to do. In the Last Days Jesus will pour out the Spirit on all Flesh including Southern Baptist.

    If the SBC did take rother PAt off the air , that would not stop God from Pouring out His Spirit.

    The guy lacks wisdom when speaking publically. By the stupid remarks he makes Christians are often seen as stupid, judgmental, and view themselves as superior. Who needs that kind of wisdom?

    The SBC has a problem with both women and homosexual pastors. They are against it. Pat Robertson is a WoF heretic and a hatemonger. I will not leave it as long as my tithes are helping to broadcast his heresy and hate.

    I am new here, so maybe shouldn't speak up, but when I saw strong words like Heretic and hatemonger, I really don't think I want to be part of this board. Better be careful how you label A Child of God! I am leaving now!

    Anybody smell a dead horse? Man, the SBC has gone down the tubes years and years ago. Why pour money into something that is corrupt in it's core? 1. Endorsing Pat Robinson is not the worst thing the SBC ever did. and 2. You, are not going to change them.

    Joseph, did I quote you wrong, was it not you who called Pat Robertson a heretic? If not then I am sorry. Someone did. We cannot go around calling Christians heretics. I do not thinnk of myself as high and mighty, never have, was just trying to point out the danger of 'flaming' other believers.
    As I said if you did not say that I aplogize. I do agree with another person here, who said 'why hate Pat Robertson?'So he spoke wrongly and then publically made it right. What more could he have done. I don't agree with everthing he says but do agree with some things and the wonderful guests he has on the program.
    I joined here to learn from others and hopefully be an encouragement to others.

    No need to apologize, that was Joseph. Besides a "heretic" he called Robertson a "hate monger".

    Thank you, I feel so bad, like I have started off on the wrong foot. I realize we can disagree with others, but naming someone a heritic and hatemonger, well the point has already been made.
    I am not sure what the poster meant that said "if the shoe fits" Robertson, me, Joseph??
