Seems quite a contraqdiction to demand "people"/ plural against "words"/plural doesn't it when one insists , as if,that the alternate "him" determines anything:laugh:

Very simple... the Hebrew refers to singular him, while the AV men knew Psalm 12 is about PLURAL people...David & his companions who went with him when he fled from Saul.

    Yet many forget:

THE WORD OF GOD = THE WORDs OF GOD

This is yet another economic (same say 'dispensational)
fact of God. For in the Kingdom of God:

    the lame walk
    the blind see
    the dead are alvie
    the halt dance like deer
there is plenty of room at the table
    ALL who will may come
    the Deaf lead choirs
OSAS = once saved, always saved

    This is axiomatic:
The Written Word of God in English
is available in all valid versions.
The valid versions do not conflict
between two of them nor within two parts of one
of them. If there appears to be a conflict
between two English Versions - it is our
duty to figure it out - it sure isn't God's fault.

Psa 12:7 (Genvea Bible, 1587 Edition):
Thou wilt keepe them, O Lord:
    thou wilt preserue him from
    this generation for euer.

We are discussing the Hebrew word translated
'him' here in this MV from 1587 ;)

As usual, we need to figure out why this
translation confuses some folks and by
contrast: many of us believe this set
of the WORDs of GOD (Psalm #12) to
    be Inerrant.

    Minority report: OOPS!

My point was that the OP just appeared with zero reference points or what was the intention of the thread. While I might be able to guess, I simply do not do that, lest I come to a false contusion, 'er I mean contusion, with anyone.

I just do not happen to be able to read minds, unlike some folks who want to think they can, hence the rest should be able to decipher such, as well. Call 'em ESP, wannabes, maybe?!?!

The poster, whether the OP or any other, may or may not have a good point, but with zero to reference to, the real result is likewise, zero.

Now you know, of course, that that is a veternarian working on a horse with a special horse tool! The horse is much better, now!

We are not going to go into another

    people, words, people, words, etc.

It is an endless merry-go-round that neither side can ever have the final say.

    Lets get on with life.
